THE 2014 FLORIDA SKUNK APE CONFERENCE
The First ever Skunk ape conference will be held in Orlando, FL. on September 19th-20th 2014. It will be held at the beautiful Embassy inn & suites Jamaican court. This years Speakers include....Dr.Jeff Meldrum, Lyle Blackburn, Stacy Brown Jr., David Lauer, Robert Robinson, Bill Brock and Tim Fasano. More to be announced soon. Tickets for the event are $50 and will include a meet & greet Friday the 19th at the hotel from 7:30-10:30 pm. Which will include appetizers. Ticket holders will recieve a 15% discount off of rooms at the hotel. The conference will begin Saturday the 20th at 9 a.m. and run thru 8 p.m. There will also be vendors set up so you can demo all kinds of squatchie equipment, meet authors and get all the cool bigfoot swag you want!!! Dr.Jeff Meldrum
Professor of anatomy at Idaho State university. Dr. Meldrum is one of the top voices on Sasquatch. Not only appearing on just about every Bigfoot show ever he is also the co-host of Bigfoot north.
Lyle Blackburn
an author and musician from Texas. His investigative cryptozoology books, "The Beast of Boggy Creek" and "Lizard Man," reflect his life-long fascination with legends and sighting reports of real-life 'monsters.' During his research, Lyle has often explored the remote reaches of the southern U.S. in search of shadowy creatures said to inhabit the dense backwoods and swamplands of these areas.
Lyle is also a staff writer and cryptozoology advisor to RUE MORGUE magazine, one of the leading horror media publications in print today.
Lyle has been heard on numerous radio programs, including COAST TO COAST, and has appeared on television shows such as MONSTERS & MYSTERIES IN AMERICA, FINDING BIGFOOT, and the CBS SUNDAY MORNING SHOW.
Stacy Brown Jr.
researcher from Florida. One half of the winning team from Spike Tv's 10 million dollar bigfoot bounty. Also featured on Animal Planets Finding Bigfoot, Founder of The Sasquatch Hunters oh and also got one of the top pieces of footage to date!!
Bill Brock
Researcher from Maine. Bill travels all over the country in search of the unknown. Bill has also had a close encounter with The Myakka Skunk Ape
David Lauer
Iraq war veteran and researcher from Florida. Dave is one of the top researchers in the field and one half of the winning team from Spike TV's 10 million Dollar Bigfoot Bounty!!
Robert Robinson
and his family are legend trippers. Together they go look for cryptozoological monsters (Bigfoot, Nessie, Mothman), UFOs, Ghosts and Lost Treasures. After retiring from the US Army, Rob pursued his interest in cryptozoolgy by going on Swamp Ape expeditions. Later his family expressed an intereast and later joined in. The Robinsons branched out into paranormal and extraterrestrials investigations. They then took in a notch up and started looking into all kinds of legends. Because of their adventures, they were selected to appear on ABC’s Wife Swap on 30 July 2010 as the monster/ghost hunting family. The Robinson have at least once Monster/Ghost hunt a month when their schedule allows. Rob recently finished writing "Legend Tripping: The Ultimate Family Experience" and was featured on Destination America's "Monsters and mysteries".
Tim Fasano
A man that needs little to no introduction, Tim is The top Bigfoter on youtube with nearly 2 million plays. Tim is a researcher from Florida who spends the majority of his time searching for the elusive skunk ape. Very few people spend more time in the woods that Tim.
